Is there a way to tighten the cords like laces? I love this shoe, but was afraid about any loose spots.

You can pull on them to make them feel tighter but they are just snug enough with no loose spots at all. I've been wearing the grey & orange pair for my daily walks for about 2 months now and they always fit perfectly; much better than having to worry about standard laces coming untied. Highly recommended!

The New Balance 536 NatMove Walking Shoe has a two way cushioning system in the shoe. The insole within the shoe carries two different sections of added cushioning for a smooth comfortable ride. Basically, it has an extra padded foot bed.
