The umbrella is meant to rotate 360 degrees.

Yes, the stand comes with the umbrella and it is all packed in one box. The instructions say to put approximately 220 pounds of sand (not included) into the base of the umbrella to keep it stable.

Don't have the red, but research and friends did not recommend as it will fade. Lighter is better, and the tan/beige color looks better outside than in the store.

No, the have flimsy bas to fill with sand. They have velcro clusures and rip easily.
Mine came with seams coming apart, before I even put sand in.
Not designed to hold water in any way and water wouldn't be heavy enough.
